List Queen

I have named myself "Queen of list-making". It's what I do when I am bored, stressed, or feel like I am not at max productivity for the moment. Here is my list for right now:

Read for Sociology exam, Ch. 1-4, 7, 9, 10 in Globalization, which is Sunday
Study for Stats quiz, which is Thursday
update resume, look for jobs
Finish up nursing school application
Straighten up financial aid situation through Renton Tech
CLEAN ROOM
DO LAUNDRY
rearrange room, another form of stress relief.

The thing about my lists is that I write them down multiple times throughout the day, changing and tweaking as I go yet, almost never actually reference them. Tell me how that is supposed to help anything.

tsk tsk - a good list is a terrible thing to waste . . .

I do the same thing! I think the physical act of making the list is theraputic. You think about it, prioritize, etc, as you're writing it. The crossing off feels really good though. You should give that a try.
