Sunday

Sunday means something different to everyone. The end of the week for some, the beginning for others, a time to spend relaxing with family, or a time to get some stuff done around the house that our busy lives just don't allow for during the rest of the week. Some people watch football on Sundays, and others curl up with a good book. For the greater part of my life, Sunday has been just another day in the week. Yesterday, for the first time in...I don't even know how long, I devoted my Sunday to worship. As I stood in the pews of a church that I had never attended, with people that I mostly didn't know, and prayed with the group in thanks, in hope, and in honest commitment, I felt something that I hadn't felt in a really long time. It was awesome, to say the least. Later on this Sunday, I attended a small group of about 7 or 8 young adults that I had only met hours previously. We ate dinner, hung out in our sweats, and had a really enlightening, but brief, discussion about God and what he has done for us.

What a great day. 7 or 8 great new friends, and look at faith that was always there, but needed a little reawakening.

What does Sunday mean to you?

Oh Crystal! This really made me well up. I am SO GLAD that this was the good experience for you that I hoped and prayed it would be. God is doing an amazing work in you, and it's blessing me more than you know. I love you so!
